Hey Gang,

I'll be at WizardWorld Texas this weekend for the day job. Should be a good time and I've never been to Texas (other than connecting through Dallas and Houston on the way to the West Coast) so I'm curious to see how Texas BBQ stacks up against Carolina. Block Broken

Hey - The past few weeks have been frustrating because I ran into an artistic block. The work wasn't coming out quickly and when it was down on paper it wasn't looking like I'd like. I draw at night and on the weekends after the day job is done which doesn't leave alot of time to warm up the drawing hand. Luckily last night I seem to have shook off the little bad drawing gnome on my left shoulder. I'm excited enough to show you some of the early drawings of the page I was working on last night. Wicked West 2 in stores!

Wicked West 2 from Image Comics is in stores this Wednesday, October 25th! Run, don't walk and pick up your copy by some truly gifted creators like Bob Tinnell, Todd Livingston, and Neal Vokes. Plus a collection of their buddies including a some guy name Filip Sablik.

My good buddy, Todd Livingston (co-writer of cool graphic novels like Black Forest and Wicked West) has a popular new web strip called America Jr. He was kind enough to ask yours truly to draw one of the weekend strips, which are all done by guest artists. Comic Book Resources just did a story on the strip and featured a number of the guest artist pieces at the bottom of the page. Here's a new cover image I recently did for Dynamite Entertainment . It will be featured in issue #12 of Army of Darkness. Part of the issue looks at Ash's origins and days in high school, so I thought the "Fast Times in Ridgemont High" was appropriate.

Cthulhu Page 2! The Dreamworld.

Hey Everyone,

This is the final page for the Cthulhu story and definitely the most challenging one Johanna threw at me. I got a bit obsessive detail, but I think it pays off in the final look. Be sure to check out the revision to page 8 below as well. It's minor, but I think clarified that the main character is actually being attacked by the Cthulhu tenticles.

Page 3 of the new Cthulhu story. I was going for that creepy domestic scene that the Japanese film makers seem to be so fond of. Hopefully it carries through.
